Rocky Mountain Vacation, Package Details:

Vacation packages are ALL INCLUSIVE, with the exception of individual travel to and from Boulder, Colorado.

-Total Cost, per Person: $ 1,500.00.

-A $300.00 non-refundable deposit, per person, is required to hold a reservation.

-Maximum three (3) people per trip. No exceptions.

-Must be 21 years or older, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Package Includes:

-Lodging and accommodations for 6 to 9 nights (arrival in Boulder, CO is the choice of the individual). Rental cars and routine city buses are available 24 hours a day from Denver International Airport, in Denver to Boulder (at the expense of each individual).

-All Meal's: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

-Seasoned mountain horses and all riding/grooming tack and supplies.

-Riding helmets (REQUIRED).

-Various guided trail rides through the Rockies with two experienced guides.

-Guaranteed 5 days of riding (pending inclement weather-OR-unforeseen circumstances).

-Fuel costs and transportation of the horses, roundtrip, from Oklahoma to Colorado.

-*Individuals must have their own transportation while in Boulder, Colorado.

-*Day rides typically vary in times and location. Most rides leave directly from our place of accommodation, however, we do haul out to various trail heads throughout the Rockies, too. Rides can range from 3 to 8 hours, with various determining factors. With each ride, we provide packed lunches, snacks and drinks for a break mid-day.

-*Trail rides typically start around 10:00am each day, depending on location and length of the trail. Individuals are expected to help saddle their horse and untack them at the end of each day.

-Examples of Trails: Eldorado Canyon, Marshall Mesa, Mesa, Flat Irons, Sourdough, Caribou Ranch, Walker Ranch, Hyle Ranch, Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, and Frisco/Breckenridge (Tiger Road), among many others.

Colorado Equine Laws- Code of Colorado 13-21-119 is in full effect at our Colorado home and facility, and while youth, students and/or clients are engaged in any and/or all equine related activities, either while at our Colorado property, and/or while participating in horse related activities off-site, specifically, but not limited to, while in the charge of Bottem Legacy Ranch owners, trainers, guides, handlers and/or employees. Each individual, or responsible party, MUST provide proof of personal health insurance (current), emergency contacts, and complete the necessary release forms and/or specific waivers to participate in any and all riding activities. Riding helmets are provided and REQUIRED. Long pants and closed toe shoes (preferably boots) are REQUIRED. NO EXCEPTIONS! The weather in the mountains changes quickly, without warning, so it is strongly advisedto pack a warm coat, gloves and a winter hat for protection against the elements, even during the summer months. Higher elevations are much colder than the trails in the foothills. Saddle bags will be provided for extra pieces of clothing, as needed, along with a first aide kit. Trail Riding Adventures

Use of BBQ Area/Covered Picnic Tables (Optional): $25.00 (one time fee per use) for trash removal and overall area cleanup after it's vacated. Individuals are responsible to leave the area clean and tidy after use. For use before or after riding. 3 hour maximum time limit unless otherwise authorized. *Must bring your own charcoal, lighter fluid, matches, food, beverages and eating ware.

Pack Your Own Picnic: No Charge. Saddle bags available for use at no charge. *Must pack out all trash. Littering will not be tolerated!

*Rules and regulations apply. Oklahoma Equine Laws, Code of Oklahoma HB 1152, is in full effect at Bottem Legacy Ranch. Riding helmets are provided and REQUIRED for individuals 21 years of age or younger. Individuals over 21 years of age are requested to wear a helmet, however, it is optional with a signed release form. Proof of health insurance, emergency contacts, completed registration forms and waivers, long pants, and closed toe shoes (preferably boots) are REQUIRED. NO EXCEPTIONS! Birthday Parties, Church Events & Special Occasions

Arena rental for personal use: $25.00an hour, 4 hour maximum.

Arena rental for Gymkhana or Playday events: $200.00  a day.

-Includes: arena maintenance, barrels, orange cones, buckets, poles, logs, wooden bridge, flags, etc. for gaming fun. Also includes truck/ trailer parking, trash cans, picnic tables, BBQ grill, & facility restroom. *Must bring all food, drinks and BBQ supplies.

Roundpen rental for personal use: $20.00an hour, 4 hour maximum.

-Arena is 100 X 200, 6 ft tall. Roundpen is 50ft x 7ft tall.  

-Tie posts and wash racks are available at no extra charge.

*All outside horses must have proof of a negative and current Coggins (within 1 year). Please review the "Summary of Disclaimers, Policies and Notices" in full.

Enjoy quality time in the saddle as you explore 240 beautiful acres at our ranch. The terrain is very diverse and full of natural obstacles. Wildlife is abundant and there are several bodies of water to add to the diversity of the scenery. Enjoy a BBQ at our grilling station, complete with an awning and picnic tables or have a picnic in a choice spot at the ranch. Below you'll find options that are tailored for individuals or groups of interested parties.


Ranch Riding WITHOUT Guide: $25.00an hour with our horse(s), per person -OR- $20.00 an hour with your horse(s), per person. Proof of negative Coggins REQUIRED. *Must be an Advanced/Experienced rider. A 10 minute warm-up ride in the arena is required to demonstrate necessary skills.
Ranch Riding WITH Guide: $35.00an hour with our horse(s), per person -OR- $30.00 an hour with your horse(s), per person. Proof of negative Coggins REQUIRED.

Ranch Trail Riding

Package Fee (for any occasion):$200.00, includes 2 large picnic tables, awning for additional shade, clean restroom, barbeque grill, fire pit (when applicable and NOT for use to burn trash), four camp chairs, large trash can, two experienced horse handlers, riding helmets, a variety of farm animals to handle/pet (if desired), roping steer head dummy, 2 lariats, release forms and waivers, outdoor facility cleanup and waste removal upon departure (provided by our staff).

-$25.00for each additional hour.

-Maximum persons allowed:25(does not include infants).

-Ponies: $30.00an hour per pony, lead line by handler -OR- handler supervised roundpen/area rides. Includes tack and riding helmets (REQUIRED). 1 hour minimum use and 3 hour maximum use. Ponies are available for children 8 years old or younger, only.

-PAINT THE LIVE PONY: $25.00 an hour per pony. $15.00 for paints and supplies (animal safe paints and materials are supplied by the ranch only). 1 hour maximum use. 

Horse/pony coloring books and in-depth  learning manuals: $10.00each.

-No more than two equines per event. No exceptions!

Bottem Legacy Ranch offers one of a kind, all inclusive Rocky Mountain riding vacations that are available from April to November, every year. These are unforgettable mountain trips that are full of colorful scenery, unique camaraderie and sheer endulgence in the great outdoors. The Rocky Mountain's are home to thousands of miles of equestrian trails for the most memorable rides of your life! These trails range from very easy to the most difficult terrain, and often you'll find yourself climbing several thousand feet in altitude with every ride. There are trails that extend well above 13,000 feet in elevation for some of the most breath taking views on earth! Dare as you may to join us for exclusive rides, come rain, snow, sleet or shine, to experience the Rocky Mountains intimately and naturally. You'll ride seasoned and experienced mountain horses that never quit and they are in sync with every demanding request of the mountain terrain.  These are not your typical nose to tail trail horses so saddle up for some fun, sun and unforgettable adventures with us.

Such activities include, but are not limited to: private riding lessons, group riding lessons, youth summer riding camps, ranch riding, trail rides throughout Oklahoma, Rocky Mountain trail rides and camping trips (all inclusive, week long vacations in Colorado), horse/pony birthday parties (hosted at the ranch only), church events, school parties, and special occasion riding events. These activities take place all year long (subject to inclement weather and holidays) and we accept reservations throughout the year. What better way to enjoy God's magnificent creation than to take an adventurous horseback ride through some of Oklahoma's most beautiful countryside? The options below will give you an opportunity to soak up the sun and ride the day away, in good company, and while riding seasoned trail horses. These are not your typical nose to tail trail horses so hunker down into the saddle, pull your hat down to your ears, and smile as you ride a working ranch horse in peaceful bliss! It's going to be a wild adventure full of fun, challenges and picturesque scenery!


Maximum four people per day trip. Two experienced guides will accompany each day trip trail ride so there will be a maximum of six horses on the trailer.  These are guided rides with the use of Bottem Legacy Ranch qualified horses only. 

Youth Summer Riding Camps 

-$350.00 per week, per student (Some discounts may apply).

-$100.00 deposit required with reservation, per student, non-refundable.

-Remaining balance due, in full, on first day of camp. Non -refundable regardless of camp days attended.

-Inclement weather rescheduled.

-Special occasion riding camps Available, also (i.e. mother/daughter, father/son, friends/family, etc.).

-Activities include: Bible time, learning horsemanship & all about equine, riding and handling horses/ponies, caring for animals: feeding,  watering, grooming and cleanup, paint the horse/pony, various events and games on horseback, handling various farm animals: foals, pygmy goats and sheep, roping, fishing the stock pond, canoeing (when appropriate and must provide own life jacket), nature hikes/trails, large sandy race track for dirt bikes or mountain bikes (must provide own bike helmet), BBQ's, bonfires, and a variety of arts and crafts.

Riding helmets are provided and REQUIRED while working with and/or while riding the ponies or horses. NO EXCEPTIONS! Disruptive and/or unruly students will be required to be picked up after one verbal warning in order to keep all other participants and animals safe (no refund issued, under any circumstances). Horse and pony grooming supplies, tack, forms and waivers, equine educational manuals and materials, activity supplies, and lunch, snacks and water are provided by Bottem Legacy Ranch. We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone for any reason at any time.

-Day trip package pricing, per person, INCLUDES: (2) experienced trail guides, horse(s), tack, riding helmet(s)-REQUIRED, trailering to and from location, and normal wear and tear on ranch tack, equipment, trailer and truck.

-Day trip package pricing, per person, DOES NOT INCLUDE:individual transportation costs, park entrance fee's (if applicable), lunch, snacks, or drinks.

-Fuel costs and park fee's are the responsibility of an individual, or group of people, who are participating in the day trip trail ride.

-Inclement weather will cause day trip cancellation -OR- a rescheduled date.

-Individuals are responsible for their own packed lunch/snacks/drinks, and transportation to the specified trailhead.

Youth Summer Riding Camps are action packed with Bible time, prayer, friends, education, horses, ponies, various farm animals, and fun outdoor ranch activities.

-5 Days a Week: Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm

-For ages 7 to 17 years old.

-Maximum 10 students per week, 2 students per horse.

-Weeks are age specific (some allowances made for siblings & carpools).

-Lunch, snacks and water included (*unless special diet is required).

-Equine educational manual and learning materials included.

-Safety riding helmets included.

-Various activity supplies included.

Private Riding Lessons: $35.00 an hour with our horse(s), one student per hour

Group Riding Lessons:  Two or more students-$30.00 an hour with our horses, per student

Learn to Longe or Ground Drive: $25.00 an hour with our Horse(s) or your horse, per student.

-Beginner Riders: Roundpen and arena riding only, with instructor.
